Thorntree Staff
We have a strong staff team who are dedicated to the learning and well-being of all our children. The strong team ethic has created an atmosphere of mutual support and cooperation. Staff and governors are quick to embrace change in the pursuit of improved standards. We are proud of our school and our children and strive to make a difference.
Teaching Staff We have a dedicated and hard-working group of teachers. As well as their teaching responsibilities, each takes on a subject responsibility and many also undertake important leadership roles in the school.
Support Staff The teaching assistants, learning mentor and midday supervisors do an excellent job supporting the learning of pupils both inside and outside the classroom.
Admin staff The Administration Officer and Office Assistant are vital to the smooth running of the school.
Outside agencies Additional support and advice is sought where necessary. We have strong links with a range of support agencies from the Local Authority and the Greenwich PCT.
Premises Manager and Cleaning Staff Our Premises Manager and cleaners look after the school building for us and ensure it is safe and clean each day.
Catering Staff Although the catering staff are not employed directly by the school, they remain valued members of the Thorntree team. Their work has been important in the school's ongoing commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles.
